Skill Building for Stronger Comminities

May 16-19, 2001 will see another gathering of community developers at "Skill Building for Stronger Communities," an ongoing training opportunity of the Heartland Center. This program features a strong theme of peer learning as participants are asked to contribute a brief case study from their own work. Participants are grouped according to the content of their case studies and have a chance to discuss each day´s training in light of their work back home.

Program content includes:
Techniques for Building Social Capital
Conflict and Polarization in Communities
Advanced Facilitation Skills
Sustainable Community Development

The program is held at Snow King Resort in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. For more information visit the Heartland Center web site at: www.heartlandcenter.info or contact our staff at 1-800-927-1115.
